  1. We were first served this wonderful expression of summerΓÇÖs tastes by our friend Dee Schmid.
  2. Cut the kernels from:
  3.       6 ears sweet white corn, briefly blanched and cooled
  4. Combine in a bowl with:
  5.       1 large tomato, diced
  6.       1/2 red onion, diced
  7.       1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  8. Barely wet with:
  9.       Basic Vinaigrette
  10. Serve chilled or at room temperature within 2 to 3 hours, garnished with:
  11.       Fresh basil leaves
